So not enough natural resources, over farming, climate change... Sounds like you can't keep fighting nature. Restore Kansas to grasslands and eat less beef. I havent touched the stuff since the 90s.

Well, then eat the plants directly. I heard that the bugs can be a source of protein.
Also, end using crops for a fossil fuel additives.

How is farming organised over there, in that region? Is it a collection of individual farms? Big agriculture corporations with hired workers? Bit of both?

Would you say they are a minority in the region? Or more of a staple?

Seems to be a mix but more individual where they are. you don’t see a lot of big corporate farms but I’ve heard them talk about the bullying pressure from ‘big M’ (Monsanto). It’s definitely a rough life and getting harder.
