Feels very late. I'm sure it'll do well regardless but it feels weird that they're finally making a movie that many years after the main show ended.

They had a miniseries and another full season of a show that continues the story since then too. It's all worth it imo. Especially if you want a little more Ron Perlman as the Lich.
That's because the show was so perfect they didn't want to shove more spinoff stuff in your throats.

I feel like the lore and episodes building off one another was what made it so great. Granted I'm not the target audience for the new TV series but it seems like a step backwards.
