I'd be far more freaked out if they discovered not only a planet there, but with characteristics that resembled Vulcan. Fiction can get some things close to correct sometimes, but that would be disturbingly too close.

I mean, I never cared if it was exactly located in any specific spot. Call me when they prove nothing like it could exist anywhere.
We haven't had a eugenics war so we're clearly not in the right timeline, so it would make sense Vulcan would be somewhere else.
