Why is everyone calling them PUSA? I've always known them as "POTUSA."
90s Music
From Grunge to Gangsta Rap and everything in between! Post a song and let's talk about it!
Rules
- All aspects of the LW TOS apply.
- Be constructive and don't gatekeep. Music is highly subjective, and people have different tastes.
- If the source is YouTube, use the actual YouTube URL rather than a specific Invidious/Piped link. This prevents dead links as those go on/offline or break due to Google changes while also letting people's browser plugins, Lemmy clients, etc automatically re-write YT links to their preferred instances. Feel free to put alternate links in the post body, though.
- Submissions must be from the 90s (1990 - 1999) based on either recorded or release date. e.g. if it was recorded in 1999 but released in 2000, we're not going to split hairs over that; post away. Covers made in the 90s of older music is absolutely allowed and encouraged.
Posting Guidelines / Suggestions
- The preferred title format is
Artist - Song Name [YEAR]
- If a song has a particular meaning or evokes a pleasant memory for you, feel free to share your story with it.
If you have other suggestions that would help grow the community and/or foster discussion, please feel free to share.

I share your confusion
My son is really into PUSA mostly because we brought him up on Caspar Babypants (check it out if you have kids, Stompy the Bear rocks). He loves Peaches, Dune Buggy, Mach 5, Volcano and 5500 Miles. He has great taste for a 5 year old, obviously.
Unexpected Walt Whitman.
If I had my little way, I'd eat peaches every day.
I just went on a PUSA binge a couple weeks ago. I still think Mach 5 is my favorite of their songs.
I picked up their anniversary CD a while back. They have a couple alternate versions of Naked and Famous on there. One's a demo. There's something about at least that one I really like. Maybe it's the rawness of it; they even swear!
Edit: grammar
It always amazes me that Hank Hill knows the words to this song, which implies that he likes the band and I can only imagine he first gave them a listen simply because of their name.
He never heard it before and just correctly guessed the lyrics.
One of my favorite rock bands. Funny, quirky and all round awesome. So many great songs to get you pumped up and in a great mood.
I remember a Playstation demo disc that came with this one, good times.
