Manz this is fantastic news, and great for the Deck. If more devs feel the deck is a valuable market, more anti cheats will be made compatible

I already play Battlebit on Steam Deck. Works fine with a community-created controller layout
Right now it uses EAC, but the devs had mentioned plans to switch to Faceit anticheat. Faceit anticheat doesn't support linux and hasn't announced any plans to support it, up until now.
So basically Steam Deck/Linux players can play right now, but the assumption was a future update would block us from playing. This announcement means it's actually safe to buy and play without worrying about losing access next update.
That's great! I've been wanting to give this a go but hadn't pulled the trigger due to the risk of losing access to servers. Might buy it during the next sale.
Absolutely killer news! I play BBR on my main rig at home, and play on steam deck when I’m out at a friends place. The game is just a blast. When I heard that they were moving from EAC to FaceIT, it was a little bit of a blemish on what is otherwise a perfect little shooter. So to see the devs taking that feedback and making an earnest effort not to alienate part of their audience just tickles me pink.
