For anyone wondering why people don't make cars like this it's because of front crashes with pretty much anything becomes extremely deadly.

It's the same reason why lights that pop out of the hood were banned.

Modern safety standards really limited how the front end of a car could look. Currently they must be able to minimize injury to a pedestrian, that’s why they tend to have a flat nose. Before that you could slice a person in half for the sake of style.
