Interesting. Plex never asked me that.

Plex doesn't have advertisers, bandwidth and processing const to worry about as much

Your flex here is a missing feature?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 8 months ago (1 children)

That's not a feature, that's just annoyance when you want to binge watch series for longer than 1-2 hours.

And yet I can have the show turn off should I fall asleep to it. Turns out it's not a feature for YOU, and you do not represent the entire user base.

So turn off the feature and be done with it.

You can't turn it off. Plex has a sleep timer the user can enable like Audible and such have as well.

Sorry, and yes I know Plex has the feature. It's irrelevant because so does Netflix.

That never got rid of the thing for me and no, Netflix does not have a sleep timer. They abandoned the feature years ago. Besides: why the heck are you aggressively defending fucking Netflix against a slightly snarky remark from some bloke on the Internet? What has Netflix ever done to deserve the energy you are investing to defend them?

I love it how Netflix is so eager to auto play anything you have selected for more than 2 seconds, but then you get this message while watching multiple episodes.

Then turn it off 🤷‍♂️

I find it useful.
