hate when authors assign human behaviors to natural phenomena. black holes don't experience hunger. let alone kinship to food. they should assign natural behaviors to humans more often. downvoting

There's good journalism as well, e.g. Quanta Magazine, Scientific American &c.

I wouldn't mind the analogies if people didn't treat them like fact. It's supposed to help people understand things; instead they just over anthropomorphize
