I don't remember when Dune is set, time-wise. All I see is that the Fremen(?) have studied at the Prometheus School of Running Away from Things... 🙄
I think it's like 20 000 years into the future – the year is 10 000 something, but that's years After Guild. Currently we're at something around 10 000 Before Guild
Roughly the year 24,000 AD, or 10,191 AG by the in Universe calendar.
