Green is literally used to accent villians in Disney movies. Nothing means anything anymore.

I was more referring to the "I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that"-part. Ryan Reynolds isn't exactly hyping his role in this.

I thought this was the creepy green alien plant stuff from Creepshow. And I'm still somewhat convinced this is actually the joke they're making.
