Trump is going to make him VP for a 500 Million donation to his legal cases

He can't. Musk wasn't born in the US.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 10 months ago

Well, you also can't stay president if you lost the election. None of the rule of law shit applies to him, that's for the poors.

We’re still doing the constitution thing?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

What happens if a president doesn't uphold the Constitution? Normally, I would assume Congress would oust him? Or supreme court? But if Congress or the supreme court are all fanatics of the president, who's left? Can the army overthrow him?

Under the SCOTUS ruling about ballot eligibility for Trump, they ruled that even though the constitution says he’s barred and the courts found he did attempt an insurrection, he can only be prevented from appearing on the ballot if an act of Congress prevents him from appearing. (Which is fucking stupid, because it means that the constitution is not self-enforcing.)

But that also means that Musk can run for vice-president, unless a specific law regarding citizenship has been passed. Or age for that matter.

Heck, Musk or even Greta Thunberg could run for U.S. president under that contorted ruling!

I hope he does it. Musk is not the poster child for innovation he wants to and claims to be. Might as well keep all the stupids together.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago

Elon is pretty much a stupid bond villain already

You know, yanks... I'm not promoting terrorism, in fact I'm against your corporal punishment, zapping innocent people left and right like it's a sport is absolutely disgusting and uncivilised... however...

Some charges placed at the venue where the RNC is being held would sure remove a couple of problems from society... which would be bad and you shouldn't do it.

But, still...

Incidentally, here's a tutorial on how to SAFELY... demolish a building with controlled detonation.

Look, officer, it's completely unrelated - that and the decorative molotov cocktail I have in my room, underneath the anarchist flag. It's not thematic, it's esthetic.
