Members of The Squad and other progressives running in Democratic primaries are targets of the pro-Israel group largely funded by Republicans and Trump donors

I'm not seeing this working well for them in the current climate.

Maybe they should have thought of this before the genocide started?

Them and Pelosi just got Schiff into the general...

That's the worst thing about them, they put their money in primaries where the money goes further. Then when the general comes, it's two people that took AIPAC money, there's no way they lose.

They only care about aid to Israel, so especially with the House it doesn't matter where they get seats. They can find races in bumfuck nowhere that $100k is a race winning donation.

They're going after established progressives to stop the movement. These aren't the races they're counting on, it's a message to everyone else.

Schiff got into the general because of name recognition. He was one of the most prominent voices in the House and has been there for over two decades. I doubt a lot of voters even considered his position on Israel.

I don't really think there was much of a question he was going to win any more than it was of Trump.

Nope, he brought it up alot...

Mr. Schiff staunchly supported Israel throughout his campaign, and has said that any cease-fire must be dependent on releasing the remaining hostages who were taken during the Hamas-led attack in Israel on Oct. 7. That distinguished him from his two main Democratic opponents in the primary, Representatives Katie Porter and Barbara Lee.

How many people listen to speeches for people running for senate vs. just voting for the name they recognize most?

Politics is a popularity contest. That's why a reality TV star and fake successful businessman was president for four years and possibly may be again.

You keep saying things that are false to back up your opinion...

I show you those are false...

And you just say

Ok, but my opinion is still right

And say more false shit to back it up

There's no logical consistency, you just say whatever in the moment that backs up your opinion.

If I wanted that shit I'd talk to Republicans.

Edit:

Oh ok...

This is one of those things where you make multiple accounts with the same name...

Fun trivia fact:

Another "flying squid" was the first account in my block list, looks like you quit using that one tho.

Can you do me a huge favor and reply with all your alts so I can block them all and finally be done with you?

[–] FlyingSquid 3 points 10 months ago

This is the only account I have, so that is a lie, and I never said "Ok, but my opinion is still right," so that is another lie.

Also, you replied to my post. I never asked you to.

If you don't want to talk to me, don't reply to my posts. I'm not sure why lying accomplishes here.

Spending money against AOC is just a waste. She feeds on attention. She's like Trump in that way (hear me out).

Her supporters in her district like what she's doing. There's no way that Republicans are going to stop a popular, young, Dominican woman from being elected in the Bronx.

populism can be quite powerful, but it also has the perpensity to become dangerous.

[–] Psychodelic -3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Can you give examples of ways she feeds on attention?

Are you saying you think she only does the things she does for attention?

Edit: ok, nvm. after reading your last couple comments you're clearly just a fan of hot and spicy takes. lol
