Yes, and jalapeno. The spice balances out the sweetness and amplifies the flavors for me.
I don’t like how jalapeños taste, but I get the same vibe with a spicy sausage, or just that spicy pepper seeds or w/e that every pizza place has next to the farmer john cheese.
Honestly, I'm open to trying all sorts of weird stuff on pizza. Life is too long to just eat red sauce with cheese.
And it’s too short to not try new things!
