It only seemed fitting to have Lemmy himself as the icon.

So with January coming to a close I was curious if anybody had any newly released albums really grab your attention over the last month.

I've been really enjoying "Lucifer V" by Lucifer( 70's style heavy/doom metal), "Saints Dispelled" by Master (which I discovered from somebody posting a track here!). I also found Saxon's new album surprisingly good for how the band is, so now I'm going back through their old stuff from the 70s and 80s which I never gave enough appreciation.

That was me :)

Master have been around for a long time so you should have a decent back catalogue to go through.

I'm really enjoying Madder Mortem's Old Eyes, New Heart. Another band that have been around for awhile, this is a strangely hard album to define in a single sub-genre.

Ribspreader

I'm going to have to check this band out, I remember the name from this one Red Letter Media video where the hosts just read a bunch of death metal band names, and "Ribspreader" was the one they both agreed was actually really good lol

I just posted a link to the new Spider God album! It sounds like an odd mixture of classic early 90s black metal and new wave lol I love it!

Caligula's Horse - Charcoal Grace. Flawless prog metal.
