Sorry, I just meant on the home/consumer market instead of business. I’ve been rocking a Lenovo T14s Gen 6 ARM since it debuted. 😄

I really haven’t been paying attention on the consumer side, are there a ton of systems in the works or out for ARM on windows? Everything I see due to my line of work is business class SKU’s they are not cheap and not game friendly. 😬

They won’t or can’t get their anti-cheat/DRM in as a kernel module. Would you trust that bunch of fucks to not screw something up terribly by trying to pop in something like that?

The last bit of this song always takes with me whenever I hear that phrase…

Freedom fries and burns and scars Liberator goes too far Freedom fries and screams and yells The promised land is a promised hell — Robert Plant from the album Mighty Rearranger

Probably Douglas Adam’s:

The Encyclopedia Galactica defines a robot as a mechanical apparatus designed to do the work of a man. The marketing division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation defines a robot as "Your Plastic Pal Who's Fun to Be With.” The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy defines the marketing devision of the Sirius Cybernetic Corporation as "a bunch of mindless jerks who'll be the first against the wall when the revolution comes…”

Reported an issue with the name. I know I’m shouting into the void on this but a small poke in the eye makes me feel better.

Nope, because every damn VW dealership will mark it up to stupid levels. If they can’t make money suckering you in for maintenance, they are going to take it off the top. Hell, right now there suing because VAG is trying a different approach for Scout sales.

To be fair, most/all kernels are written on a hardware abstraction layer, although lot of that kernel was built off of VMS… 😂
