For me, I think coping involves all the things we've talked about, sharing, caring and hoping. You need a good support behind you who'll listen when you need to vent, cry, moan or who know you well enough to realise you need to open up when you smile and say your fine.
Coping for me also means being busy. I give a lot, probably too much, of my time to work, but I also make time for friends, family and my OH. Getting out in the fresh air always helps to clear the head!!
I love to take time for myself by having a long, hot bath with a bath bomb, candle, can of irn bru, sweetie/chocolate and The Real Housewives!
In work, we teach children some strategies which can help with stressful situations. Deep breathing, visualisation exercises, meditation, massage.
This year I am going to try manifesting to help cope with my stressful situations! Will let you know how it pans out!! xxx
