Sausage, bacon, eggs, no complex carbs for me.

It brings me pain when people don't engage with the premise of the post but still comment.

I'm not nuts about any of these to be honest. I make protein blueberry pancakes once a week as a treat, but regular pancakes have way too much sugar and very little protein.

My favorite breakfast foods are matzoh brei and quiche. I guess I just prefer savory!

Depends if the pancakes are banana or chocolate chip pancakes or plain.

Pancakes...but I typically eat "dinner food" for breakfast. For example, I just ate a chicken sandwich for my first meal.

Conversely, I love breakfast for lunch or dinner

Waffles, 100%. Just by themselves without anything sugary on them.

Pancakes and it’s not even close!

If I had to pick one I'd probably go with pancake Beeeeecaaauusseee - they are the pancake-iest. I like waffles, but rarely get a good one at a restaurant. And usually the french toast is soggy and has one molecule of powdered sugar on it (if any).

The best thing I ever ate was a hot french toast casserole I had at a bed and breakfast in Ohio. It was made of very fluffy bread and had glazed pecans and a maple/brown sugar thing going on that was orgasmic. I wish I had that recipe.

Definitely waffles. My mom got me a waffle maker for my birthday last year now I have Sunday Brunch every weekend.

Waffles, but I have celiac so made of blue corn masa. If you haven't tried it, get some! It's amazing with blueberries, plus your house smells like popcorn as it's cooking.

To me nothing beats good old eggs and bacon and toast and coffee for a satisfying breakfast. Gotta have the meat, ya know. Or ham and eggs if the ham is good and not all fatty and gross.
