As an Eagles fan, I approve!

Crazy that the eagles might fire sirianni but the cowboys are content to stick with mcarthy

I’ve heard they’re only interviewing for coordinators and that Serriani is safe. He’s got the best win/loss ratio in Eagles history too. I doubt they’d fire him, especially since the coordinators were new this year. More on them than Sirriani.

Why though? What on earth makes them think that if they were to run it back next year that the results are going to be any different? McCarthy has a career full of proof that he does nothing in the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers, could only drag him to one Super Bowl win.

Of course Jerry Jones also gave Jason Garret a job for 10 years so McCarthy is probably on the Mt Rushmore of yes men

He has one more year left in his contract, I think, and no one wants to deal with the high profile job of head coach of the Cowboys because you have to deal with Jerry.

Because they looked around and realized nobody else would put up with Jerry's shit?

Jerry won't hire good coaches because Jerry needs his yes men.

Headline I see: “Cowboys to retain Mike McCarthy”

Headline I see in my head: “Belichek says no to Cowboys.”

Belichick or Vrabel would be better but I know I'd have a hard time firing someone with the regular-season success of McCarthy so it doesn't surprise me.
