Did they fix the bug that made it boring and tedious?

Has the mod to turn space ships into Thomas the Tank Engine or Macho Man Randy Savage come out yet?

I love how some modders have just refused to do their stuff to Starfield because of how terrible it is.

They haven’t released the mod tools yet.

I don’t know how much they can do until Bethesda does.

Nothing to do with the lack of tool.

I believe the tools just make it easier for the average person to mod the game.

Idk if it's related to the mod development itself or the game, but I found it so boring and uninspired I just couldn't go past the first few missions.

The beginning of the game, which should captivate you, is so... bland. It's not cool, or original, or long or anything, it's not even confusing. I was so disappointed, I swear

Are there rumors of Starfield getting some DLC? I've heard the game is pretty blah so I feel like I'd probably just do the one play through but I don't know if it's going to get No Man's Sky/Cyberpunk 2077 style updates that turn it around

They didn't turn around Fallout 76. I think it's just gonna stay a disappointment. I would be elated if I'm wrong.

They have 100% turned FO76 around; it is night and day to the state it was in at release.
It is of course still multiplayer/online, so has the ‘grindy’ elements associated with that, but even played as a single player game it is a great addition to the series. Better than Starfield at present IMO.

Even then I don't think Fallout 76 is in as bad of a spot now then it was two years after it's release. I don't care for multiplayer games so it was never for me but a lot of people started to like it after the release of the Wastelanders DLC.

I'm just wondering how much better Starfield could realistically get. Could they do things to help how boring people say the game can be or is the core of the game going to get in the way?

They already announced a bunch of upcoming changes and something called Shattered Space.

The game is pretty decent, I'd wait for everything to be out and then give it a try, there's no reason to rush it.

They‘re already selling the Shattered Space expansion with the Premium Edition. So that‘s confirmed to be in development. We‘ll have to wait and see if they manage to fix some of the game’s issues with that.

Graphical fixes for NPCs? Are they gonna make them not boring and kinda ugly, then?

[–] AlexanderTheGreat 2 points 8 months ago

That's the hope.
