I use box jades in a GMMK Pro. It's a heavy board at around 3kg. It somehow feels lighter than my cherry MX blues in a plastic case board.
What's the weight on the V6? Case material and construction? These will all factor in.
It weighs around 3.2 pounds (around 1.45kg) That's the weight of the whole fully assembled keyboard. Also, the jades are a lot lighter than the navies if you read the specs. Jades are like 55ish bottom out and the navy are 90
I'd recommend box jades or getting a Kailh tester with box jades, box navies and box whites for testing.
I personally love mine, would absolutely buy them again.
Box whites are a very nice light tactile switch.

They are... I mainly suggested them on a tester as a reference point. Also, as someone who loves heavy clucky switches, I was surprised at how much I liked them.
Agreed they're nice. If they were to become standard on introductory boards instead of the blue click-jackets, I think many more people would stay on Team Clicky.
i'm using a Q6 with lubed MX blacks (60g) and PBT caps. nothing like your setups at all, but they are plenty loud, even as linears. the aluminium case makes them "ping". i would imagine the navys being almost deafeningly loud, even if you like them clicky. the large case and the even larger actuation force make for great amplifiers of noise.
Ok, thank you so much. The ping is one reason why I got the V6. It drove me crazy on the corsair one I had.
It's going to be loud regardless, especially since the Navies have a thicker bar AND you'll be using more force to get past it and the heavier spring.
And yes, they're heavy. I like heavy switches (really hate anything less than 50g), but even those were a little tiring to type on the first time. You will need to get used to typing on them.
Will echo the other suggestion made, get a tester pack first.
Thank you. From all the searching I have done and other replies, box pale blue seem to be the perfect set for me with their 60gm actuation and 80gm bottom out. I may get those and see.
I run modified Silent Box Browns on my K4v2 but I specifically designed them to quiet things down with the largest tactile bump I can manage because my partner flips out at repetitive noises.
I have Box Navies in a DIY aluminum sandwich board that's about the size of a TKL, and before that they were in an FL-Esports FL980, which is an 1800 style, so very nearly full size. I've heard the Jades are ever so lightly louder, but I like heavy switches, so the Navies are perfect. They're very snappy, and in the DIY board bottom out is almost rumbly if I don't use a deskmat. It has been decades since I used buckling spring, but I find the Navies come closer to my memory than any other switches I've tried (though still not the same). I prefer them to Box White, Gateron Green, Outemu Green, KS-3 Gateron Blue, or various commodity blues I've tried.
Nice. Do you type a lot? If so, do they ever get tiring? I have baby kangaroo switches and they're kind of heavy (59gm actuation and 67gm bottom out) and they feel very light to me. Wondering if the navies are tiring. Appreciate your input. I, too, am a huge fan of the buckling springs myself. I used to type on them back in the day in college and they were fearce.
"A lot" is always relative, I guess. I feel like I type a fair bit, and I do some gaming, and I can say I've never got tired, though to be honest I've never tried a commercially available keyboard or component that was enough to make me tired. I've noticed the extra effort after using something lighter for a while, but I quickly readjust and heavier just feels more natural. To the extent I use them, I prefer my linears and tactiles to be heavier as well.
The potentially big caveat is that I don't properly touch type, and even composing from scratch I top out at about 70 wpm.
