It's a shame the spotlight is being monopolized by big studios doing reboots and sequels in an age of democratized creative tools and access. Indie and low budget should be having a renaissance. There's some good stuff coming out of Bollywood too now.

One of my favorite movies I watched recently was Anyone Else But Me by Joel Haver and it only had a $4000 budget. A good script and good actors go such a long way

After a quick look, it sounds like something really special. I'll have to give it a look, thanks!

Currently really trying to make time to watch Late Night With The Devil. It's hard to find time for stuff like that with so much kids' media in my diet.

I didn't really like the film he put out before it but I gave this one a shot and was hooked 10 minutes in. Wasn't planning on watching a movie in my computer chair that night but it was totally worth it.

I don't have kids but I feel you on the time thing. I'm staying with family (need my condo to sell before I buy a house) and I feel really uncomfortable watching anything with swearing, violence, or sexuality while there's children in the house.

Returning to say I'm really happy with the time I spent with LNWTD. Very tight scripting, perfect pacing. Mood and tone on point, nothing about it seemed out of place. It deserves to be more than an "instant cult classic".

It looks bizarre and right up my alley, added it to my watch list. Thanks for the update!
