It consisted of bread, hummus, scrambled eggs, and different toppings, such as pickles or cress.

What kind of pickles were they? I can see the acidity of the vinegar in the pickles as well as the lemon in the hummus working well with the dish. I of course say this after I just made my family eggs benedict last night, putting a hearty squeeze of lemon into my hollandaise, like I’ve never had acid/citrus with my eggs before lolol
