I think my first album was Venus and Mars. Before that I just bought singles or listened to the radio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cG7ztHUFJw

I remember on a road trip to nyc with my bestie Tam we talked the whole way and she told me this was her album too. We are so close in age, just a few weeks difference. It was just amazing to think that me, a teen growing up in a country town in Australia was listening to the same music at the same time as my friend growing up in a small town in Canada.

A shared experience. Gees i miss her 😿

It was a toss up between this one and the Roxette newspaper one. Even at the time I thought I should have gone with Roxette. But the radio was really flogging The Look to death.
