We can have frost right up till the end of May, and frost as early as the first week of Sept.
It may be too early, but nothing wrong with an earlier harvest?
This is true and fair. I'm just wary of them getting too big indoors, making transplanting hard. I totally get what you're saying about the growing season though. /Zone 6
Packets said 4 weeks, so probably could have waited 2 more weeks, but I’ve never made a harvest in the 2 years I’ve tried as well, mainly rodents, but still.
We are 3a-4a depending on microclimate in the city.
