Left dome has watermelons and cantaloupes. The top dome has beefsteak tomatoes, San marzano tomatoes, tumbler and Roma tomatoes. The bottom dome has Jalepeno peppers, bell peppers, habanero peppers and pumpkins.

Seed to soil after last frost at the end of May will be carrots, radishes, cucumbers, peas and whatever else catches my fancy at the store.

You're starting mellons indoors? That's not a bad idea. I usually start mine outside for fear of starting them too soon indoors and them growing to be unwieldy.

We can have frost right up till the end of May, and frost as early as the first week of Sept.

It may be too early, but nothing wrong with an earlier harvest?

This is true and fair. I'm just wary of them getting too big indoors, making transplanting hard. I totally get what you're saying about the growing season though. /Zone 6

Packets said 4 weeks, so probably could have waited 2 more weeks, but I’ve never made a harvest in the 2 years I’ve tried as well, mainly rodents, but still.

We are 3a-4a depending on microclimate in the city.

So umm… the watermelons are already an inch tall.

I’m surprised some of the peppers already broke ground too, they are usually a week?

In my limited experience with mellons, they grow fast. Worst case, you need to find them a new place to live for a bit that they might not do quite as well in.

Yeah, peppers can take a while. This year they came up fast, but my heirloom tomatoes are taking forever. Thankfully we still have about a month before our last frost date.
