Same, except it hasn't worked since. I'll get like 30 seconds in and it'll buffer indefinitely

I force closed the app from settings and then that went away. I didn't mess with anything else.

Same here, I was getting frustrated thinking, I had to root my phone or smth. and then a simple force close helped.

Did you install their new version of MicroG?

If you did, you have to turn off "Google Device Registration" in the MicroG settings to stop it from buffering indefinitely.

This was happening to me until I repatched and reinstalled the app. I didn't change anything between installs so I'm not sure what happened.
