From my point of view, liberals in this thread are doing a purity test.
"purity test" != "Criticizing bad faith argumentative bullshit"
Saying everyone to the right of you is a conservative is precisely a purity test

Problem is, no one said that. I saw zero comments like that in the thread.
You quoting Obama to make my point for me is kind of confusing. You realize that I'm the one who pointed out that this post and your comments are doing just that? I mean you can disagree, fine. But it's kind of weird to preach to the... preacher?
True. No one said that. I just used it as an example of what liberals think of anyone to the left of them. The Obama quote was to demonstrate that there are purity tests even within the Democratic Party.
