Where exactly are people saying not to vote in the general? All I'm seeing is/were calls to vote undecided in the Michigan primary
Ok, OPs post is correct but I see plenty of users here talking about the general and abstaining. No, I did not bookmark the comments.
Like I asked the other poster, do you mind linking a few? I know you said you didn't bookmark them, but surely if it's as common as is being suggested it won't take long or be too hard to find some.
Odd request. Just check my post history. Half my comments are bickering with abstaining lefties.
I don't see what's odd about it, but I'll check your post history later if you suggest there's some there. I'll report back later tomorrow probably
I don’t know if you’re trolling. Half the memes/arguments/discussions on any thread involving US politics is between people abstaining / choosing lesser of two evils/ etc. It’s the one thing that’s discussed here 90% of the time
A bit late, oops. I didn't go super far back, but I at worst saw someone explaining why people might not vote for Joe in the general, but not actively advocating for others to join them. You may not find the two to be all that different, but I consider them to be different at least.
That's fine. Maybe it's the various Lemmy feeds we are subbed to. But half the memes/fights I see on my feeds are between the ones advocating for Joe (lesser of two evils yadda yadda) and leftie purists (likely politically disenchanted young people). Joe is boring, I get it. But the real legislation / policy work is boring hard work and not exciting for social media.
They’re all over the place here.
Do you mind linking a few? I'm not seeing those myself
