I think this has more to do with the instance than it does with wefwef. I was running into the same array of errors, so I accessed the instance via the lemmy.world web page and found all the same sorts of errors there.
I know they did and it's upgrade recently, and it went well. But in the release/deployment notes they said the instance was slow and using up a lot of CPU. This probably has a lot more to do with the instance getting slammed from all the reddit refugees than anything else. But either way, it sounds like the instance is getting hit very hard.
I have both wefwef and lemmy.world open, lemmy.world is showing signs of stress, but so far it's just been posts taking a minute to load when I open them.
lemmy.world hasn't had any of the sorts of errors that wefwef has, though I suppose it could have them behind the scenes with no notifications.
Either way, I love wefwef so far, and don't mind the errors. The git says it's in alpha, this post was not a complaint but an attempt to provide feedback with whatever information I can provide.
