Glad it's the court of human rights as the UK is still nominally a part of that if I recall correctly so hopefully derails UK governments attempts as well.

There will be a law soon declaring government backdoors do not weaken end to end encryption.

Laws can't be untrue statements. They are commands, imperatives, procedures, not statements.

I take it you are not from the UK. See Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill https://bills.parliament.uk/bills/3540/publications

The Government plans to send some people who would otherwise claim asylum in the UK to Rwanda, saying that it is safe for refugees. The Supreme Court has held that Rwanda is not safe for refugees because they might be sent away to face persecution, and so the plan is unlawful.

Government has signed a new treaty with Rwanda containing additional safeguards for people relocated. Parliament is now being asked to consider legislation declaring that Rwanda must be treated as safe, in order to render the relocation plan lawful in UK domestic law.

That law is very much a statement, and arguably an untrue one

Ah. I am from the UK, just clearly ignorant. And now disappointed.

Yes, the ECHR is part of the Council of Europe (no affiliation with the EU or their two confusingly named councils), and for example Russia was a member until 2022.
