How much carbon emission do fox news use while flying their people? Or Murdoch alone? Suddenly it matters to them

The vast majority of reporters are flying economy packed in like sardines very efficiently.

Unless you want to make the argument to limit reporters to their local region that's a lost argument already.

Even if that were true (it absolutely is not), there's no way that the Murdochs and the on-air "talent" multimillionaires aren't gallivanting around in private jets and helicopters and otherwise responsible for a shitload of emissions.

Nobody's said anything of the kind. In fact, nobody except you even mentioned reporters.

The vast majority of reporters...

That aren't Fox News^

Fox has 22000. How many of those, you actually think fly business? Not everyone lives on TV, that's a miniscule portion of the staff.

[–] Rustmilian 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Of the one's that fly, most of them.

I feel like this might actually fix most of this country's problems. The giant national news companies running around making everyone mad at each other is the catalyst being used for all the crazies in the government. They wouldn't be so stupid, brazen, or crazy if they didn't get national news coverage out of it.
