Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.
If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Middle of a Friday evening here in the US. Not a bad move on his part, a good chunk of the userbase is out drinking.
I think the opposite - it was a dumb move on his part because people now have the weekend to learn about and get used to lemmy. People getting off work and discovering their reddit apps are dead will probably look for alternatives.
This exactly. Deleted RIF (was like putting down a beloved pet) and went in on trying to access the Thunder app like a madman. Between having Lemmy on mobile as well as right here, at home.. I'm set. Almost want to thank Spez for pushing us off the roof of a burning building only to land on the ground floor of something new and potentially even better than Reddit
How do you like Thunder so far?
Yo! In all honesty I've been using Connect a lot more as of late. It has more of the RiF vibe about it. A lot of people are hyping up the upcoming Boost for Lemmy, so I'll check that one out when it releases too!
Thank you! I’ll have to check that one out too!
yeah I got off around 6:30pm EST and my Apollo wouldn't load, constantly crash. It opens now, but nothing loads. It's dead and gone. Actually surprised me spez would pull it early. Fuck Spez
