I'm sure many (American) people think Hugh Laurie is like House in real life too ๐
American here, Iโm a big fan of Stephen Fry so I knew about him from A Bit of Fry and Laurie. I know Iโm an outlier in the statistics.
Similar story but I'm Italian
Jeeves and Wooster here, but lump me into that outlier group with you.
British people know how sophisticated he really is
I was VERY surprised when I heard his real accent as a kid.
So were the production team of House. They totally thought he was an American and were surprised when he first spoke with them in his natural voice.
