I use Arch btw but got into Linux with Mint and I'm glad I did. Really solid distro!
Mint is a fantastic distro. I had good luck with it.
Mint with Cinnamon here. It just works. I maybe google how to troubleshoot something once per week max 👌
I used Ubuntu Mate, weird combo I guess?
