Let’s say they don’t create original artwork, and only/mostly use AI generated artwork. May I ask why it matters? It’s a little cringey to see big corporations are using it, but it’s also silly to assume that programmers used to pay for art for personal projects. In the vast majority of cases, they just avoided pursuing projects that required a lot of artwork. The whole “I wrote a cool indie game and I need an artist; I can’t pay you, but I can give you a share of the profit!!!” meme exists for a reason.
The reverse is also true: artists can use AI to cut out the software dev in their own projects. Shouldn’t that be regarded as a good thing? Devs are expensive right now.
Truly pathetic, this is all your argument boils down to?
Go back to drawing furry porn for commissions, or wait, did AI take away the only income stream you can get?
I like that you've devolved to "champ". Not sure if you've realized how much of an asshat you've been and you're getting defensive, or if you're really just that comically dense and decided to keep pushing.
They responded to you saying (emphasis mine), "I’m glad AI is being used to put artists out of work instead of actually bettering the world in meaningful ways. Nice job, tech industry!"
Your original statement was broader than just being about artists.
