I remember being skeptical of the DS because touch controls had usually sucked back then. I thought it was a gimmick.

I also thought the 3DS' 3D was just a gimmick. It was, but it was amazing technology! Much better than the Virtual Boy.

Of course, both consoles did really well. I was wrong about their futures! Lol
