8. Submission statements of any length composed of your own thoughts inside the post text field are mandatory for any microblog posts, and are optional but recommended for article/image/video posts.

Honestly I feel that the android community here on lemmy is more active than the r/android subreddit before the lockdown

Having been on the Internet since the pre-AOL days, I would say that in general and at least so far, discussions in Lemmy feel more old-school than in Reddit and I mean that in a good sense.
