Yeah i don't think that's a real argument.

Yes it is, unless you think Israel doesn't have a right to protect it's citizens and you're okay with genocide against the Israeli Jews.

Israel is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. They are not at any serious risk of genocide and they don't need our money to keep killing Palestinians. It's the Palestinians who need help preventing genocide, not fucking Israel.

They do need help, they can;t afford the Iron Dome without aid, and without the Iron Dome Israeli casualties would have been drastically higher.

Why do you support genocide of Israelis?

Of course Israel has a right to defend its people. Of course, it failed to do that on October 7. Still, i can't argue that most people consider this kind of revenge to be also a component of self defense. Certainly that was true, for example, with the US's war in Afghanistan.

However, speaking of genocide, Hamas (hell, all of Palestine) is not in a position to seriously threaten the Israeli people as a whole nor the Israeli Jews specifically.

Nor does this mean the US in particular is required to unconditionally provide an unlimited number of weapons to Israel.

Why did the bell ring immediately after Hamas started losing? You don't get to perform an offensive, have less success than expected and then simply call off the war.

However, speaking of genocide, Hamas (hell, all of Palestine) is not in a position to seriously threaten the Israeli people as a whole nor the Israeli Jews specifically.

The Arab states have been trying to do this literally since the creation of Israel. The only reason it hasn't occurred yet is because they lost all the wars they started.

is required to unconditionally provide an unlimited number of weapons to Israel.

Those weapons are the only reason Hamas is not in a position to seriously threaten the Israeli people. Without them Israel would be vastly less able to defend its civilians.

You take away arms assistance to Israel without dealing with Hamas, and you will end up with many, many dead Israelis.

Doubt it.

"Those hospitals and refugee camps are soooo scary, if we hadn't blown them up surely 10,000 Jews would have died!"

[–] [email protected] -1 points 1 year ago

Hamas fires thousands of rockets from those locations at Israeli cities. Without the Iron Dome many Israeli civilians would have died.

You are advocating for a genocide of the Jews if you do not insist on both sides being disarmed.

[–] Feathercrown -3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Why not though? If Hamas has weapons they're going to use them whether Israel can respond or not.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's still not an argument.

[–] Feathercrown 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Why not?

On second thought, I don't really care what you think an answer will be. Blocked. Argue or don't respond.
