The JWST this year has been battering astrophysicists and cosmologists, both punching and sucker-punching them to a bloody pulp.
They don't know where the knucklestorm is coming from! It's coming from all sides at the same time! All they can do is crouch and wait for it to pass, then pick up their jaw and blood-soaked glasses from the floor afterwards.
