Best GameCube Controllers at this point? (self.nintendo)

I want to play some old GameCube games on my Wii. I’m looking for a a GameCube controller or equivalent that would work well. I’m not doing competitive Smash or anything, but I would still like something that is decent quality. The stuff I’ve seen on Amazon kinda makes me think it’s junk.

What are your recommendations for a readily available GameCube controller at this point?

So I’m not fixated on getting a GameCube style controller. In fact I looked to 8bitdo first to see if they had anything. I saw nothing about any of their products being compatible with the GameCube/Wii. Does it actually work with them?

Look at the Blue Retro adapter specs, since it's the one doing the translation it should let you know what works and what doesn't.
