The Nintendo Switch was officially announced about 5 months before it came out. This very well could be a “Switch 2” announcement.

I wouldn't bet on it, TotK just released, and I'm sure they're planning a DLC. Unless it's a Switch 2 that retro-compatibility, maybe?

It was a surprise that Zelda game didn't herald the death of a Nintendo console, as it was for the Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U.
