Yeah I'm confused. 24k a year is nothing, but 24k a month sounds way too high.

If it's a renter level admin job, they are pretty much minimum wage.

From what people over in r/antiwork have said, 24K GBP goes further than 24K USD, especially with there being some level of social healthcare.

I think the offer is salary. So what they're saying is that instead of paychecks of £923.20, they're getting paychecks of £1615.20 (assuming 40 hr work week, paid biweekly without tax being factored)
