And don't forget the rootkit debacle.

I'm on ps5 but the upcoming psn price hike is putting me off after reluctantly paying it the last 2 years. A steam console (I think I saw 'leaked' recently) sounds ok if it can play GOG/owned stuff too.

Not sure about steam console, but I'd imagine it will since my steam deck can do gog and epic just fine.
