An extra part to fail and cause issues, get lost when rummaging around. Why would anyone want to walk around with an extra part when it used to just be included

I seriously don't get people justifying the adapter. But I guess it's a non issue for them and how they use the device.

Lost? How many other things are you plugging your headphones into?

Just keep the dongle attached to your headphones. You can't lose it then.

Like, I just leave a 3.5mm to usb c adapter in my car attached for when I need to plug in my phone. No need for me to even remove it ever because I don't have anything 3.5mm to plug in.
