Last class action I was in I got $40. Pretty sweet! Of course, I’m expecting something like $6.27, but you never know.

I think more like money they don’t get to keep.

They don't get to keep it no matter what. The way it works is the money goes in a pot, the lawyers take a huge chunk out of that pot, and whatever is left over gets divided up even between everyone that applies to get some of the money. If there's say $500 million left after the lawyers take their slice off the top, and only 1 person claims it, they get $500 million. If 1 million people claim it, they each get $500. If 50 million people claim it, they each get $10.
