I think we were used to playing difficult games back then, with all the improvements and changes in game design, the old games feel more difficult than they used to.
Have you tried auto-mapping? Does that make game less clunky? Or does it reduces the enjoyment of the game?
Thanks for the reminder about auto-mapping! I haven't got to try it out. I feel like that will help, I loved mapping on the 3DS but I don't think It'll hinder my enjoyment on the switch.
