I can tell, because I have this in my inbox:

(the *Permanently Deleted* bit still has the link to the URL).

The post title was "what's your favourite book" or something similar.

But there's nothing in the modlog that shows this. How come?

My guess is the user deleted it? That probably wouldnโ€™t show up in mod log

Kind of a pity that the post doesn't remain and show as a deleted post, so the comments aren't wasted..

Yep, looks like the user deleted their own post and then also deleted their account. Users deleting their own content is not recorded in the modlog.

Hrm. I reckon this is kind of a bug. It was partially addressed, for comments. I added a report at https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pull/3965#issuecomment-2739123868
