Australia had a terrible mass shooting, instituted strong laws, and the result was more guns and no new shootings.

Oh boy, the myth of Australian gun control working. I have a entire wall of text with sources I can go dig up, but the gist is that Australia's violent crime rate matched the rest of the western world. But because this is Lemmy, no matter how many sources I link, none of y'all will ever change your mind.

It's not worth arguing with them, they would rather be getting brought to a concentration camp, and still be talking how sensible gun laws can exist.
I say let all americans have guns. Reduce restrictions. Yall massively reduce your insane population pretty quickly
You don't realize that we all already can have them? It's the right of all US citizens, and even children can own and use guns (with adult supervision) here.
What you describe is actually the status quo and it's not reducing the population at all. Gun homicides are not even in the top 10 most common causes of death in the USA.
