Photos are just files.
Proton Drive treats standard files and photo backups differently.
Yeah, google photo does that too
But PDrive doesn't treat them as such. It's kind of annoying.
Ah gotcha, that's frustrating.
That’s not clarifying things for me I’m afraid. Are you saying that the photo upload from on phones will end up on the drive, and since they are files they will be downloaded to my PC? My understanding is that photos are not treated the same way as files in Proton.
Yeah I didn't realize they pulled shenanigans like that.
