(season 8-10 spoilers) I just realized something about Susan and Finn (self.adventuretime)

When Susan's implant gets activated and she grabs Finn and says "target acquired" it's because that was her original mission as revealed in the Islands mini series. I hadn't made the connection until my, like, 25-30th watch or so lol. I guess I just assumed it was because he's the only other human around. Did everyone already know this and I'm just super slow?

Edit: forgot to mention the episode, its Preboot in S8

Does that happen in the original Susan episode(s) or in the Islands arc? Not sure if I realized that before. It's a small detail that they might not have even originally planned out until they wrote Islands.

In the original episode featuring Susan the hoomans attack the candy people and try to eat them, cause candy is yummy. We see they are all mutants except.for Susan, whose headpiece is not removed and so we are left with no confirmation. I think it was always planned for her to be a human too.

Maybe, but considering the amount of planning that went into Steven Universe (the same team IIRC) it could very well have been planned (at least past a certain point where they actually started to flesh out AT's universe). Spoiler tagged image is basically the largest spoiler possible for Steven Universe, it's the drawing board for the entire timeline.

Absolutely massive Steven Universe spoiler; like every plot point is behind this spoiler tag. Don't click if you have even the smallest desire to pickup the series. I'M WATCHING YOU. DON'T DO IT.
